Parma. According to a survey by the iCribis business observatory, there are around two thousand companies in Italy that manage campsites and camper van parks. We know how different it is to stay in a campsite compared to a Camper Park, but the research is nevertheless worth a look.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Tuscany is the region that concentrates the most camper van tourism activities and Salerno stands out among the provinces. About 7.3 per cent of these facilities are concentrated in Veneto and Venice does not appear in the top ten provinces, which makes our Camper Park in San Giuliano even more special.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Scrolling through the data, it is striking how employment in this sector has grown in recent years: 2023 closed with +6.8% over the previous year, which had already marked +18.6% over 2001. We will see the figures at the end of this year. Another important fact is that one out of every four companies is run by women, while cooperatives account for just 3.2%. Another feather in the cap for our San Giuliano.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Other interesting data came out of the Camper Show in Parma: itinerant tourism has become a cool sector, so much so that registrations of new motorhomes in Italy in the first seven months of 2024 increased by over 22%. One more fact: open-air tourism has seen a real boom, with over 56 million presences recorded this year alone, 53% of which were foreign travelers.
