Cinemoving is the festival organised by the Municipality of Venice that brings cinema on four wheels, in neighbourhoods and in the historical centre, under the stars: from June to September 2024, 70 shows are scheduled in Mestre, Venice and the Islands.
At San Giuliano Park, the programme includes six films for “Uno sguardo al mondo” (A Look at the World): on 9, 10, 11 and 16, 17, 18 July, six evenings featuring mountains, real or imaginary stories, all set among the peaks, to be climbed or experienced. A thematic cinema that opens our eyes to one of the world’s most fascinating and difficult places. It will entertain us and help us reflect on our planet.
On 10 July, ‘Belle et Sébastien’ (France, 2013, 95′) adventure, by Nicolas Vanier; the next day, ‘The Eight Mountains’ (Italy/France/Belgium, 2022, 147′) drama, by Felix Van Groeningen, Charlotte Vandermeersch. We will catch our breath for a few days and then Cinemoving at the Park will start up again: on the 16th, ‘Prima Ascesa – La montagna creata dall’uomo’ (Italy, 2021, 52′) documentary, by Leonardo Panizza; on the 17th, the evergreen ‘Heidi’ in the version by Alain Gsponer (Switzerland, 2015, 115′). Closing on the 18th, the beautiful ‘La prima neve’ (Italy, 2013, 102′) drama, by Andrea Segre.
